Liberal Democrat Councillor for Hartley Wintney, Eversley and Yateley Learn more
by David Simpson on 1 October, 2012
Dear Councillor Simpson
As part of the programme of works being carried out by Operation Resilience we will be undertaking ditching works on Bottle Lane, Mattingley, in the vicinity of Thorne’s Copse, (midway between Vicarage Lane and Bar Lane). The works are programmed to start on 1 October 2012 and are expected to last for 2 weeks, weather permitting. In order to undertake the works safely, and due to the narrow width of the road, it will be necessary to close the road to through traffic for the duration of the scheme. Through traffic will be required to use the diversion route. Access to properties within the closure will be permitted.
Information signs advising road users of the impending works will be erected. A letter will be sent to local residents and businesses, and an email will be sent to Mattingley Parish Council.
Should you have any questions or require further information please contact the Operation Resilience team on 01730 263631 or email operation.resilience@hants.gov.uk
Kind regards
Chris Lawrence
