Subject: Waste and Recycling Collections – Friday 3rd December 

Due to the adverse weather all waste and recycling collections have been cancelled today, and staff have been reallocated to the clearance of snow in accordance with the priorities set out in the Council’s snow plan. Once recommenced priority will be given to the collection of any waste (black) bins which have been missed. Anyone who has not had a black bin collection should leave their bin out and it will be emptied as soon as we are able. We will not be returning for any recycling collections missed but instead will take any excess on the next scheduled collection day. This includes blue bin, glass and garden waste collections. Daily updates will be posted on the Council’s website and sent to those email contacts we have including Councillors and Parish Council’s. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, but ask you to bear with us whilst this spell of bad weather continues. Regards
