A new system has gone live for reporting highways issues:

It’s much more interactive and user friendly than the previous system and will automatically send you a confirmation email and updates (if you check the appropriate box). There is even a facility to upload a picture in jpeg format.

If you like that sort of thing you can even zoom in on a map, or satellite picture, to get the location correct.

 

If you have a highways problem this is the best way of getting it to the appropriate highway engineer.
